Services

Medical translation, e‑learning localisation, and a pre-check of your source.

Three services, one process underneath. Each is quoted in writing before any work starts.

Medical and pharmaceutical translation

Translation of promotional and medical-education material for healthcare professionals, from English into German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese (European) and Turkish, with the regulated work around it done for you. Other languages are available on request.

What you get:

  • A translation that matches the approved label. Before we translate, we gather the official approved product information (the SmPC) in English and in the target language for every medicine in the material. Wherever your text touches the label, the translation follows the official wording.
  • Approved wording first. Where wording already exists, in the label or in material your client approved before, it takes priority over a fresh translation.
  • Questions asked, not guessed. Anything unclear in the source comes back to you on a query sheet.
  • Your file, translated. The translation goes back into your original PowerPoint, in place, with its formatting kept. References to the product information are localised consistently.
  • Nothing left behind. Checks confirm that every piece of text is translated, that nothing is hidden on the slide, and that no visible slide is left in English.
  • Layout checked slide by slide. Translations run longer than English. We render every slide, find the text that no longer fits, and a layout specialist fixes it without touching the words.
  • A linguist signs it off, reviewing and editing the translation in the finished file.

Need a different therapeutic area, audience or file type? Each is scoped with you before we quote.

E-learning localisation

Courses for healthcare professionals and other learners, in the tools agencies build with: PowerPoint, Articulate Rise 360 and Articulate Storyline 360.

  • PowerPoint courses and decks go through the same process as our medical translation: translated in your file, layout checked, linguist reviewed.
  • Rise 360 and Storyline 360 courses are translated through the platform’s own translation export and brought back into the course, so you receive a working course in each language.

Two things are never in a course export: text inside images, and narration. If your course has them, we list them as separate, visible lines on the quote, so a fixed price does not go wrong later.

Pre-check

A check of English source material before your client’s approval round, or before translation.

  • Factual accuracy against the label. We check the source’s own content against the approved product information (the SmPC) and flag statements that contradict the label or each other.
  • Citations. We check that each citation is complete and points to a real source that matches it: authors, year and journal. We flag any cited source that has been retracted.

What the pre-check does not do: we do not judge whether a cited source supports the claim made for it. That remains with your client’s medical-legal review.

You get a report of the issues we found, ordered by severity, so your team can fix them before they reach a reviewer. The pre-check is a service we run for you; it is not a self-service tool. It is also built into every translation job, because a mistake in the source is cheaper to fix before it is translated.

On one English deck that had already been through its approval process, the pre-check found 16 issues before translation started.
